Engine[edit | edit source]
A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 652.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a gears transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 130/80-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 300mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single 220mm disc, 1-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 45mm Marzocchi upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable monoshock with APS. The wheelbase was 58.19 inches (1478 mm) long.
1998 Aprilia Pegaso 650 Road[edit | edit source]
The 1998 MY Aprilia Pegaso 650 Road, unlike the base model, has been fitted with lighter, cast-aluminum wheels, road tires, and has had its engine mapping and suspension package tweaked, for a better performance on paved roads, whether for a daily commute, or fast, highway trips.
In the tech/engine department, it sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 649cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 50 horsepower and 53 Nm of torque.
