The Kymco Yup 50 was a air-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC scooter produced by Kymco between 2005 and 2008. Max torque was 3.69 ft/lbs (5.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.96 HP (3.7 KW) @ 7000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a air cooled air-cooled, two-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC. A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a CVT transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 200mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The bike weighed just 213.85 pounds (97.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.98 inches (1295 mm) long.
