The KTM 125 Sting was a Single cylinder, 2-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by KTM in 1997. Max torque was 10.33 ft/lbs (14.0 Nm) @ 7500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 13.54 HP (10.1 KW) @ 8400 RPM.

A 55.9mm bore x 55.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6 Speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 110/70-17 front tire and a 130/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single 320mm disc in the front and a Single 220mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm upside down forks and shock while the rear was equipped with a Fully adjustable white power.
1997 - 1999 KTM 125 Sting[edit | edit source]
The styling of this KTM 125 Sting is borrowed from from the successful Duke supermotard, including aggressive twin nosecone. This bike has a liquid-cooled, single cylinder, two-stroke engine with reed valve induction and has a large ex[ansion chamber exhaust to improve power delivery.
