The Yamaha Night Max ABS was a twin, four-stroke scooter produced by Yamaha between 2006 and 2007. Max torque was 33.19 ft/lbs (45.0 Nm) @ 4600 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 41.97 HP (31.3 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 66.0mm bore x 73.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 499.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiple-disc automatic.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-m14 front tire and a 160/60-m15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swingarm. The Night Max ABS was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 467.38 pounds (212.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.01 inches (1575 mm) long.
