The Honda GL 1000 was a Liquid cooled, four stroke, opposed boxer four cylinders, SOHC. 2 valve per cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Honda between 1976 and 1977. Max torque was 61.22 ft/lbs (83.0 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 78.05 HP (58.2 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Chassis

It came with a 3.50-19 front tire and a 4.50-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x232mm discs 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 250mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swing arm. The GL 1000 was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 60.79 inches (1544 mm) long.
