The Kawasaki VERSYS-X 300 was a 4-stroke parallel twin Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Kawasaki in 2017. Max torque was 17.7 ft/lbs (24.0 Nm) @ 10000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 39.02 HP (29.1 KW) @ 11000 RPM.

Engine

A 61.0mm bore x 61.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 296.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-disc.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-17 M/C 54S front tire and a 140/70-17 M/C 66S rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc in the front and a Single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Uni-Trak with gas charged shock and 5-way adjustable preload.

Joining Kawasaki’s lineup for 2017 is the Versys-X 300, powered by the liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 296cc parallel twin from the Ninja 300 and boasting a 19-inch front wheel, available ABS and what Kawasaki says is a low seat height and long-travel suspension.
