The Gilera RCR50 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Gilera between 2005 and 2015. Max torque was 2.66 ft/lbs (3.6 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 2.68 HP (2.0 KW) @ 5250 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 39.9mm bore x 40.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.9 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi-plate, wet.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 80/90-21 front tire and a 110/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 40 mms. hydraulic fork. while the rear was equipped with a double pro-link arm. The RCR50 was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 213.85 pounds (97.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.
