Engine
The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder, TSCC. The engine featured a 13.2:1 compression ratio.
Drive
Power was moderated via the Hydraulically-actuated multiplate wet clutch..
Chassis
It came with a 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) tubeless front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 M/C (73W), tubeless rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2 x 320mm Discs radial mount Brembo 4-piston calipers in the front and a Single 220mm disc, Nissin,1-piston in the rear. The front suspension was a Inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a Link type, coil spring, oil damped. The GSX-R 1000 Pepsi GP Edition was fitted with a 16 Liters / 3.5 US gal fuel tank. The wheelbase was 1410mm / 55.5 in long.

This year marks 25 years since the Legend that is Kevin Schwantz won the world 500cc World Championship for Suzuki. Its also the 30th Anniversary of, what we think, is one of the best-looking bikes of all time, the 1988 RGV500 Pepsi Suzuki. To celebrate these two moments in history , in conjunction with are proud to offer a limited run of Suzukis awesome GSXR1000A. This exclusive limited edition run of 25 bikes are painted as faithful replicas of the 1988 Pepsi Suzuki RGV500 as ridden by Kevin Schwantz. Each bike is numbered and bears the signature of the man himself along with the iconic number 34. Source
