The engine was a liquid cooled twin, four-stroke. A 53.5mm bore x 55.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 248.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).
DriveEdit
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate coil spring.
ChassisEdit
It came with a 110/80-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic, coil spring, oil damped while the rear was equipped with a swingarm, coil spring, oil damped. The GSR250 was fitted with a 3.43 Gallon (13.00 Liters) fuel tank.
