The GAS GAS SM250 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by GAS GAS between 2002 and 2004. Max torque was 33.63 ft/lbs (45.6 Nm) @ 7628 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 48.81 HP (36.4 KW) @ 8699 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 66.4mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 120/60-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a marzocchi inverted fork, 50 mm while the rear was equipped with a progressive system, ohlins shock absorber..
