The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 38.0mm bore x 43.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 130/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic monoshock. The Hawk 50 was fitted with a 1.2 Gallon (4.54 Liters) fuel tank.
