The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 63.5mm bore x 62.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 196.9 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 90/90-19 front tire and a 110/90-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a twin shocks. The X-Pect was fitted with a 2.6 Gallon (9.84 Liters) fuel tank.
