The Victory Octane was a V-twin, four-stroke standard produced by Victory between 2017 and 2018. Max torque was 76.05 ft/lbs (103.1 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 101.78 HP (75.9 KW) @ 8000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 101.0mm bore x 73.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1179.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 130/70-18 front tire and a 160/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. two-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. single-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm damper-tube forks with dual-rate springs while the rear was equipped with a twin shocks with dual-rate springs, adjustable preload. The Octane was fitted with a 3.4 Gallon (12.87 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 548.95 pounds (249.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 62.13 inches (1578 mm) long.
2017 Victory OCTANE[edit | edit source]
Based on the project 156 racer that competed at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, Octane`s 1200cc V-twin uses 4-valve heads, dual overhead cams and liquid cooling to make 104 HP.
