2016 Triumph Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition[edit | edit source]
The 2016 MY Triumph Thunderbird Nightstorm Special Edition has a number of visual features that set it apart from the base Thunderbird Storm. On the tech/engine side, it sports the same 1699cc parallel twin as the Storm.
The overall aspect of the bike was intended to be as dark and gloomy as possible. For a more unique look, Triumph have painted it with a custom paint scheme, with "ghost flames" and a hand-sprayed tank logo. The twin-skinned full exhaust system has been also coated with a highly-resistant black paint, as were the handlebars, mirrors, and much of the braking system.
