The 2012 MY Piaggio MP3 Touring LT 300 I.E. sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 278cc, single cylinder lump paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can produce 22 horsepower and 23 Nm of torque. Unlike the base 300 I.E., the LT version has had a number of modifications so one can ride it with a standard passenger car licence, such as an integral braking, through an additional brake pedal on the footrest, daylight running light integrated in the lower part of the leg shield, motorcycle-type turn indicators, as well as a widened, 465 mm, front track.
