A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 799.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 3-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual, cork inserts.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 700 x 80 mm front tire and a 700 x 80 mm rear tire. Stopping was achieved via drum in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a rigid while the rear was equiped with a hardtail, sprung seat. The wheelbase was 57.01 inches (1448 mm) long.
1926 AJS Model E1[edit | edit source]
The 1925 AJS Model E1 is one of the first V-twin motorcycles produced by the British brand, and was defined by features such as a hardtail rear suspension, a sprung rider seat and a sprung passenger seat, pull-back handlebars, laced wheels, a rigid front suspension, and a small headlight. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 799cc, V-Twin powerplant paired to a three-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 8 horsepower.
