Aprilia Atlantic 125

The Aprilia Atlantic 125 i.e. was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced between 2005 and 2009. Max torque was 8.85 ft/lbs (12.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 19.71 HP (14.7 KW) @ 9600 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 48.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive

The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifugal dry clutch.

Chassis

It came with a 110/90-13 front tire and a 130/70-13 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 35 mm hydraulic fork. wheel travel 90 mm. while the rear was equiped with a engine assembly acting as swingarm. double chamber hydraulic shock absorber with 5 positions for spring preload. wheel travel 100 mm.. The Atlantic 125 i.e. was fitted with a 2.77 Gallon (10.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 438.72 pounds (199.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.87 inches (1470 mm) long.
