The Aprilia Scarabeo 125ie was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Aprilia between 2003 and 2015. Max torque was 8.11 ft/lbs (11.0 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 19.31 HP (14.4 KW) @ 10000 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 57.0mm bore x 48.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic dry centifuge with damper buffers.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/80-16 front tire and a 120/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic shock absorber. The Scarabeo 125ie was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 339.51 pounds (154.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.33 inches (1380 mm) long.
