Automoto was a pioneer manufacturer of robust machines. Automoto bikes were powered by proprietory engines from Chaise, Zurcher, JAP and Villiers. After WWII Automoto used mainly AMC 250cc OHV engines. Automoto eventually merged with the car Peugeot group in 1931 and manufacture ceased in 1962.
