It came with a 120/70 ZR 17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320 mm floating discs, 4-piston fixed calipers in the front and a single 265 mm disc, 2-piston floating caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Duolever while the rear was equipped with a Paralever. The K 1300 S Dynamic Package was fitted with a 1.32 Gallon (5.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 62.4 inches (1585 mm) long.

The 2012 MY K 1300 S Dynamic Package addresses Beemer fans who want all the latest technologies developed by the House of Munich on their machine. As opposed to the base model, it comes standard with Automatic Stability Control, Tire Pressure Monitor, Electronic Suspension Adjustment II, heated grips, an on-board computer, and the HP gearshift assistant. Also, it has a livery inspired from the MotoGP Beemers.
At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 1293cc, in-line four cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed transmission, and can produce 175 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque.
