The R 1150 GS Adventure Special Edition sports an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, 1130cc, two cylinder boxer powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a shaft final drive and can reach a maximum power output of 85 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque.
 
This machine boasts a special, white and blue paint scheme, as well as blue finishes on its rims, its single-piece, dual seat and on its front fork. Also, it has been stripped down, for a cleaner overall look. In all other aspects, it has the same features and specs as the base model.
