1952 - 1955 BMW R 68 SDT Special
The 1952 BMW R 68 SDT Special is the sportier version from the House of Munich, and, unlike the base model, has a high-mounted, single exhaust system, with a larger torpedo muffler, as well as improved performance and a single, sprung seat. In all other departments, it has the same features as the base model.
Power-wise, it can reach a maximum output of 35 horsepower at 7000 rpm from its air-cooled, four-stroke, 594cc, boxer twin cylinder engine mated to a four-speed manual transmission.
