The bike has a 3-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the dry.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75 x 19 front tire and a 3.00 x 19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via none in the front and a hand lever and foot pedal working independently on rear wheel dummy rim in the rear. The front suspension was a single spring girder fork while the rear was equipped with a hard-tail, sprung seat.

The 1933 BSA B2 comes with large fenders, a large, round headlight, a rear luggage rack, a single, pea-shooter exhaust system, a hard-tail rear suspension, a sprung single seat, a spring loaded girder fork as a front suspension, wide handlebars, wire-spoked wheels and mid-mounted foot controls. In the engine department it sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a three-speed manual transmission and can produce 2.5 horsepower at 3000 rpm.
