Manuals | Service Manual |
The Benelli 500 LS was a in-line four, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Benelli between 1973 and 1980. It could reach a top speed of 107 mph (173 km/h). Max torque was 25.08 ft/lbs (34.0 Nm) @ 9300 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 43.05 HP (32.1 KW) @ 8500 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 56.0mm bore x 50.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 498.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis
It came with a 3.50-18 front tire and a 4.10-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks. The 500 LS was fitted with a 5.02 Gallon (19.00 Liters) fuel tank.
1974 Benelli 500 Quattro
The 1974 MY Benelli 500 Quattro has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 498cc, transverse four cylinder powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 45 horsepower and 34 Nm of torque.
In addition, it comes with features such as a drum braking system, a telescopic front fork, dual adjustable shocks as a rear suspension, a split-muffler, chromed, dual exhaust system, a dual seat, laced wheels, a chromed, round headlamp, an analogue instrument cluster, and a dual-tone paint scheme.
1975 Benelli 500 Quattro
The 1975 MY Benelli 500 Quattro boasts features such as a drum braking system, a telescopic front fork, dual adjustable shocks as a rear suspension, a split-muffler, chromed, dual exhaust system, a dual seat, laced wheels, a chromed, round headlamp, an analogue instrument cluster, and a dual-tone paint scheme.
In the tech/engine department, it sports a four-stroke, air-cooled, 498cc, transverse four cylinder powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission, that can reach a maximum power output of 45 horsepower and 34 Nm of torque.
1976 Benelli 500 Quattro
The 1976 MY Benelli 500 Quattro comes forth with good news, such as dual discs in the front and a single disc brake in the rear, instead of the drums found on its previous embodiments. Other features include a split-muffler, chromed, dual exhaust system, a dual seat, laced wheels, an analogue instrument cluster, dual front disc brakes, and a suspension package composed of a telescopic fork and a dual shocks in the rear.
In the tech/engine department, it has an air-cooled, four-stroke, 498cc, transverse four cylinder powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 55 horsepower and 46 Nm of torque.
