The Benelli BX505 Enduro was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Benelli between 2008 and 2011. Max torque was 36.88 ft/lbs (50.0 Nm) @ 5750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 58.47 HP (43.6 KW) @ 8500 RPM.

A 104.0mm bore x 59.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 505.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet clutch 7 steel discs.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 50 mm fully adjustable while the rear was equipped with a sachs shock absorber fully adjustable. The BX505 Enduro was fitted with a 2.38 Gallon (9.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 242.51 pounds (110.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.
2008 Benelli BX 505 Enduro[edit | edit source]
The 2008 MY Benelli BX 505 Enduro sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 505cc, single cylinder powerplant mated to a six-speed manual transmission, and it can produce a claimed 60 horsepower and 50 Nm of torque. In addition, it comes standard with a 50mm upside-down telescopic fork, a Sachs adjustable shock absorber in the rear, front and rear disc brakes, a dual seat, laced wheels with knobby tires mounted on them, plus an under-seat exhaust system and fuel-tank.
