The Benelli Caffenero 125 was a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves scooter produced by Benelli between 2011 and 2016. Max torque was 8.85 ft/lbs (12.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 11.94 HP (8.9 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 2 valves. A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal. automatic.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 100/80 - 16 front tire and a 120/80 - 16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 240mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the front and a single 240mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 33mm telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a adjustable mono-shock. The Caffenero 125 was fitted with a 1.95 Gallon (7.40 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 262.35 pounds (119.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 53.5 inches (1359 mm) long.

The 2016 MY Benelli Cafenero 125 has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerplant mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), and can reach a maximum power output of 12 horsepower and 12 Nm of torque. It also comes standard with features such as a 33mm telescopic front fork, an adjustable shock absorber in the rear, a small windscreen, a dual seat, passenger grab handles, cast-aluminum wheels, a digital and analogue instrument cluster, plus an under-seat storage compartment.
