The Benelli Pepe 50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 2006 and 2016. Max torque was 3.1 ft/lbs (4.2 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.69 HP (3.5 KW) @ 6250 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 37.0mm bore x 46.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 7.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the wet, cable operated.

Chassis

It came with a 2.50-16 front tire and a 2.75-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equiped with a floating engine with hydraulic rear dumper. The Pepe 50 was fitted with a 1.59 Gallon (6.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 205.03 pounds (93.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 50.59 inches (1285 mm) long.
