The Beta 480RR was a single cylinder, 4-valve, 4-stroke, liquid cooled Enduro motorcycle produced by Beta in 2015.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 447.5 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a Michelin Enduro Competition 21 front tire and a Michelin Enduro Competition 18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 260mm floating rotor in the front and a 240mm rotor in the rear. The front suspension was a 48 mm Sachs USD fork, adjustable compression and rebound, TFX technology while the rear was equipped with a aluminum body Sachs shock w/adjustable rebound and hi/low speed compression. The 480RR was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 58.7 inches (1491 mm) long.
2015 Beta 480RR[edit | edit source]
The 2015 MY Beta 480RR comes equipped with a new, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, 477cc single cylinder and a six-speed manual transmission. The engine has been built with a new, die-casting technology which reduces its weight by 2.2lbs.
A lightweight and easy-to-handle machine, the 480RR sports the most powerful engine in the RR family, and addresses more seasoned and race-oriented riders, while still being tame enough to accommodate riders who just want to enjoy a woodland track from time to time.
