The Beta Alp 4.0 was a single cylinder, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Beta between 2004 and 2012.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 79.0mm bore x 71.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 349.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 130/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a hydraulic fork with ø46 mm shaft while the rear was equipped with a monoshock with adjustable spring preload. The Alp 4.0 was fitted with a 2.77 Gallon (10.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 293.21 pounds (133.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.85 inches (1444 mm) long.
