The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/65 ZR17 front tire and a 190/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm disc, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 230mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 46mm Paioli upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins fully-adjustable mono-shock.
2004 Bimota SB8K Gobert Replica[edit | edit source]
The 2004 MY Bimota SB8K sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 996cc, 90-degree V-Twin powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, that produces a claimed 143 horsepower and 106 Nm of torque. This machine has a paint scheme inspired from the official motorcycle ridden by Anthony Gobert during races.
Standard features include a 46mm Paioli upside-down telescopic fork, an Ohlins fully-adjustable mono-shock as a rear suspension, race-grade, Brembo brakes with dual discs in the front and a single disc in the rear, a single seat, a carbon-fiber full-fairing, machined-aluminum parts and a digital and analogue instrumentation panel.
