Engine

A 50.8mm bore x 50.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 124.6 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 110/70-ZR17 front tire and a 150/60-ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Double disc in the front and a SIngle disc in the rear. The front suspension was a Upside-down Marzocchi forks. while the rear was equipped with a Adjustable rebound and damping shock absorber. The wheelbase was 54.09 inches (1374 mm) long.

The Cagiva Mito SP525 has a single cylinder, two stroke engine which delivers a peak power of 12.07 HP (8.8 kW) at 9000 RPM and 11.00 Nm (1.1 kgf-m or 8.1 ft.lbs) of torque at 7500 RPM. The trim aerodynamics design was developed to get maximum penetration with the rider on the saddle.
