It came with a 110/70 ZR17 front tire and a 150/60 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 320mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 230mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 40mm Marzocchi upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Boge adjustable mono-shock. The Mito SP 525 was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 284.4 pounds (129.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.13 inches (1375 mm) long.
2008 Cagiva Mito SP 525Edit
The 2008 MY Cagiva Mito SP 525 introduces a new technology, the Electronic Carburetion System (ECS), which brings two-stroke engines in the 21st century in terms of fuel consumption and lets its engine be categorized in the Euro 3 range. It also boasts a maximum power output of 25 horsepower and 23 Nm of torque from its liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 125cc, single cylinder powerhouse that has been mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
This new version of the Mito has had its bodywork redesigned, to make for a more aggressive and modern machine, sure to fit the taste of the young and adventurous among riders. Standard fittings include dual headlights, a full-fairing with a small windscreen, a two-piece, dual seat, die-cast aluminum wheels, an analogue instrument cluster, a 40mm Marzocchi upside-down fork coupled to an adjustable mono-shock in the rear and a disc braking system both in the front and in the rear.
