The bike has a 6-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a MC165 / 55R15 55H front tire and a MC225 / 50R15 76H rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 270 mm discs with Brembo 4-piston fixed calipers in the front and a 270 mm disc, 1-piston floating caliper with integrated parking brake in the rear. The front suspension was a Double A-arms with anti-roll bar while the rear was equipped with a Swing-arm with basic monoshock. The wheelbase was 67.28 inches (1709 mm) long.
2017 Can-Am/ Brp SPYDER F3-S DAYTONA[edit | edit source]
New for 2017 within the Can-Am Spyder F3 family is the introduction of the Can_am Spyder F3-S with Sport Mode. This mode allows the driver to perform controlled rear tire spins, wich enchances the fun factor while maintaining vehicle stability. Sport Mode is activated by the driver, at which time the gauge displays Sport Mode and Traction Control System deactivated.
