The Can-Am/ Brp Sarasota 1000 was a SOHC, 4-Stroke ATV produced by Can-Am/ Brp in 2005. Max torque was 13.28 ft/lbs (18.0 Nm) @ 2500 RPM.

The bike has a Single-speed automatic, reverse, neutral transmission. Power was moderated via the Automatic CVT.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 18 x 8.5-8 4 PR front tire and a 20 x 10-8 2 PR rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Wet disc in transaxle in the front and a Wet disc in transaxle in the rear. The front suspension was a Independent, spring over shock, single A-arm while the rear was equipped with a 2 high-flotation low pressure tires (solid axles). The Sarasota 1000 was fitted with a 0.79 Gallon (3.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 65.51 inches (1664 mm) long.
