The Can-Am Spyder RS was a v2, four-stroke standard produced by Can-Am between 2010 and 2016. Max torque was 79.66 ft/lbs (108.0 Nm) @ 5000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 97.89 HP (73.0 KW) @ 7500 RPM.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 97.0mm bore x 68.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 165/65-r15 front tire and a 225/50-r15 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. 4 piston calipers. foot-actuated, fully integrated hydraulic 3-wheel braking system. in the front and a single disc. abs. single piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a double a-arm with anti-roll bar. while the rear was equipped with a swing arm with monoshock.. The Spyder RS was fitted with a 6.6 Gallon (25.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 798.07 pounds (362.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 67.48 inches (1714 mm) long.
