For 2007 Ducati dropped all previous superbikes and introduced the 1098.  It was availabe in two models, the 1098 and the 1098 S. The 1098 is very likely to be the world's most powerful v-twin.  It features the [[Testastretta Evoluzione]] engine, along with traditional Ducati features such as underseat exhaust and single sided rear swingarm.  It has onboard datalogging features and the first one piece [[Brembo]] calipers ever on a production bike.
