The Ducati 80 SPORT was a Single cylinder, two-stroke, piston port Sport Bike motorcycle produced by Ducati in 1963. Claimed horsepower was 4.96 HP (3.7 KW) @ 7800 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

A 48.3mm bore x 48.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 79.8 cubic centimeters.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 3-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet Multi-plate.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.25x18 front tire and a 2.50x17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm, twin shocks. The wheelbase was 45.71 inches (1161 mm) long.

Ducati released 80 Sport in 1963, but it was still a failure and production was stopped by tge end of the year.
