The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, multiplate, hydraulic.

ChassisEdit

It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 190/50 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Ohlins fully-adjustable upside-down fork, TiN-coated while the rear was equipped with a Ohlins fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The wheelbase was 55.91 inches (1420 mm) long.

The 2006 MY Ducati 999R Fila Toseland Replica is a limited edition machine that has been dressed in the outfit of the official WSBK machine rode by James Toseland for Ducati. Besides the livery, this machine has received several upgrades, such as the carbon fiber side and upper fairings, the braced swingarm, the magnesiujm head covers and headlight support, an Ohlins steering damper and the forged aluminum wheels, plus an increased power output of 146 horsepower. In all other departments, it is virtually identical with the base 999R.
