The Ducati Monster 1100 EVO Diesel Special Edition was a air-cooled, four-stroke, 90-degree V-Twin, SOHC, desmodromic 2 valves per cylinder Naked motorcycle produced by Ducati in 2012. Max torque was 75.97 ft/lbs (103.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 100.04 HP (74.6 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1078.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a straight cut gears transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, multiplate, hydraulic control.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm disc, 4-piston radial calipers, ABS in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper, ABS in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Marzocchi fully-adjustable upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. The wheelbase was 57.09 inches (1450 mm) long.

The 2012 MY Ducati Monster 1100 EVO Diesel Special Edition has been fitted with a special paint scheme, "Diesel Brave Green", designed in partnership with renowned clothing firm Diesel, and a bright yellow finish on its front brake calipers and the rear monoshock, that is sure to fit the taste for the collectors among Ducati fans. In all other departments, it has the same features as the base Monster 1100 EVO.
