The bike has a 5-speed, manual transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/60 - 17 front tire and a 160/60 - 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 40mm upside-down telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage.
1997 Ducati Monster 750 Dark[edit | edit source]
The 1997 MY Ducati Monster 750 Dark is a dark and aggressive version of the base 750, that is sure to turn heads wherever one may ride it, but, at the same time, still keep a sense of blending-in, especially during the night. It has features such as a Brembo braking system with dual discs and a single disc in the front and rear, respectively, a dual seat, a tubular steel trellis frame, a 40mm upside-down telescopic front fork coupled to a fully-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage in the rear, analogue instrumentation dials and a large, round headlight.
In the engine department it is powered by a four-stroke, air-cooled, 748cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodrmoic powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, that can produce a claimed 62 horsepower and 61 Nm of torque.
