The Ducati Monster 797 was a v2, four-stroke naked bike motorcycle produced between 2017 and 2019. Max torque was 49.42 ft/lbs (67.0 Nm) @ 5750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 71.48 HP (53.3 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 803.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 11.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a desmodromic valve control.

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the aptc wet multiplate clutch with mechanical control.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-zr17 front tire and a 180/55-zr17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. semi-floating discs, radially mounted monobloc brembo m4-32 callipers, 4-pistons, axiial pump with abs as standard in the front and a single disc. 2-piston floating calliper with abs as standard equipment in the rear. The front suspension was a 43 mm kayaba usd fork while the rear was equiped with a sachs monoshock, pre-load and rebound adjustable. The Monster 797 was fitted with a 4.36 Gallon (16.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 385.81 pounds (175.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 56.5 inches (1435 mm) long.
