Engine[edit | edit source]
A 88.9mm bore x 88.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 803.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/60-17 front tire and a 160/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The 2003 MY Ducati Monster 800ie has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 803cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission, that can produce a claimed 73 horsepower and 69 Nm of torque.
It also comes with fittings such as a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down telescopic fork, Brembo brakes with dual front discs and a single disc in the rear, a Sachs fully-adjustable monoshock with a progressive linkage as a rear suspension, a micro-fairing with a windscreen, a large, round headlight, a steel trellis frame and three-spoked die-cast aluminum wheels.
