Chassis

The front suspension was a 43mm fully-adjustable upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a fully-adjustable Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage. The 2003 MY Ducati Monster 800ie S has been equipped with a revised suspension package, which makes for a higher seat height and ground clearance, so that the maneuverability of the base model is significantly increased. Also, it has been fitted with carbon-fiver body parts, which also lower weight. In all other departments, it has the same features as the base model.
