Chassis
It came with a 120/70 ZR17 front tire and a 180/55 ZR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual 320mm discs, 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 43mm Showa fully-adjustable upside-down fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs fullly-adjustable monoshock with progressive linkage. 2000 Ducati Monster 900ie
The 2000 MY Ducati Monster 900ie, as the name suggests, has been fitted with an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, which allow a more balanced power output, as well as increase fuel-efficiency, no matter the atmospheric conditions. Other features include a 43mm Showa fully-adjustable upside-down fork, a Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage, Brembo brakes with dual discs, a steel trellis frame, a dual exhaust system, a single seat, analogue and digital instrumentation dials and cast-aluminum wheels.
In the engine department it is powered by a four-stroke, air-cooled, 904cc, 90-degree V-Twin desmodromic powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, that can produce a claimed 78 horsepower and 72 Nm of torque.
