2013 Ducati Superbike 848 EVO Dark[edit | edit source]
The Italian designers from the House of Borgo Paniagale have taken the highly successfull 848 EVO and made it more aggressive, edgier and bolder, with a Matte black paint scheme, as well as a blacked-out frame and wheels. At its heart lies the liquid-cooled, 849cc, Testastretta Evoluzione L-Twin powerhouse with four Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, which produces an awe-inspiring 140 horsepower and 98 Nm of torque. It is one of the lightest machines in the Superbike family, tipping the scale at only 168 kg, and it features the latest technologies developed by Ducati up to date, such as the Ducati Traction Control and DDA-ready, as well as race-derived Ohlins rear suspension and Showa front forks.
