The Gilera Fuoco 500 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 2007 and 2017. It could reach a top speed of 90 mph (145 km/h). Max torque was 34.3 ft/lbs (46.5 Nm) @ 5500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 39.16 HP (29.2 KW) @ 7250 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 94.0mm bore x 71.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 492.7 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a automatic transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the dry centrifugal type with damping plugs.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-12 front tire and a 140/70-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. two-piston caliper in the front and a single disc. two-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a parallelogram composed of four aluminium arms supporting two steering tubes, cantilevered suspension. electro-hydraulic suspension locking system. while the rear was equiped with a oscillating engine fixed to the frame with a swingarm and two dual effect hydraulic shock absorbers with four-position spring preload.. The Fuoco 500 was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 537.93 pounds (244.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.02 inches (1550 mm) long.
