The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 94.0mm bore x 71.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 492.7 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The front suspension was a parallelogram composed of four aluminum arms supporting two steering tubes, cantilevered suspension. electro-hydraulic suspension locking system. while the rear was equiped with a oscillating engine fixed to the frame with a swingarm and two dual effect hydraulic shock absorbers with four-position spring preload..
