The Harley-Davidson FL Hydra Glide was a v2, four-stroke touring motorcycle produced between 1949 and 1957. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Max torque was 62.99 ft/lbs (85.4 Nm) @ 3200 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 53.77 HP (40.1 KW) @ 4800 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 87.0mm bore x 102.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1212.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 7.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 5.00-16 front tire and a 5.00-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear.
