The Harley-Davidson FXSTSSE3 CVO Softail Springer was a v2, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced between 1989 and 2009. It could reach a top speed of 106 mph (170 km/h). Max torque was 99.58 ft/lbs (135.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 61.69 HP (46.0 KW) @ 5300 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 101.6mm bore x 111.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1800.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the hydraulically actuated, 9-plate, wet, with high-performance spring.

Chassis

It came with a 130/70-r18 front tire and a 240/55-r18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. 4-piston calipers in the front and a single disc. 2-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a leading-link fork while the rear was equiped with a hidden, horizontal-mounted, coil-over. The FXSTSSE3 CVO Softail Springer was fitted with a 4.99 Gallon (18.90 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 725.32 pounds (329.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.2 inches (1656 mm) long.
