The Harley-Davidson Sportster Iron 883 was a v2, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced between 1957 and 2019. It could reach a top speed of 104 mph (168 km/h). Max torque was 53.84 ft/lbs (73.0 Nm) @ 3750 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 49.89 HP (37.2 KW) @ 6000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 76.2mm bore x 96.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 883.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the multi-plate with diaphragm spring in oil bath.

Chassis

It came with a 100/90-b19 front tire and a 150/80-b16 rear tire.
